CMS is proud to participate in the National PTA Reflections Art Program!
Students create original works of art in response to the theme: I Belong. There are 6 categories to choose from: Dance, Music Composition, Film Production, Literature, Photography, and Visual Arts. Cockeysville PTA accepts entries in the Middle School division as well as the Accessible Artist division. All entries must have a completed entry form with an artist statement. Information on requirements for each category can be found below or on the display in the library.
Entries are due November 21, 2025
1) Brainstorm about the theme: “I Belong” Use this worksheet to get started and guide you.
2) Choose a category and Create!
3) Fill out and Submit a completed entry form (paper entry forms are on the display in the library, or use digital entry found below) to the front office. Remember that the entry form must have a title, artist’s statement, and parent signature.
Remember, successful entries MUST include: Completed entry form (see below) with title of the work and artist statement (10-100 words). The theme this year is “I Belong”.

Entries will be judged in three areas: Interpretation of the theme, Creativity, and Technique.
