CMS is proud to participate in the National PTA Reflections Art Program!
Entries are due by November 20, 2023.
1) Brainstorm about the theme. “I am Hopeful Because…” Use this worksheet to get started and guide you.
2) Choose a category and Create!
3) Fill out and Submit a completed entry form (paper entry forms are on the display in the back of the cafeteria, or use digital entry found below.) to an art/music/ELA teacher. Remember that the entry form must have a title, artist’s statement, and parent signature.
2) If your entry is a physical object, give it to an art teacher along with your entry form. If your entry is a digital file, email it to reflections@cockeysvillemiddlepta.org. If you have any questions or problems submitting a digital file, please email or see an art teacher.
Remember, successful entries MUST include: Completed entry form (see below) with title of the work and artist statement (10-100 words). The theme this year is “I am hopeful because…”.
Entries will be judged in three areas: Interpretation of the theme, Creativity, and Technique.
